Happy New Year!- Healthy Aging with Dr. Sanober Doctor

Hi Reader,

Happy New Year!

New Year’s resolutions often ask us to push, hustle, and force our way into becoming better at a time when every natural rhythm around us is whispering…

Rest. Pause. Go inward

You see, winter isn’t just cold weather and shorter days—it’s a season with a purpose.

In nature, animals hibernate and plants slow down.

Life contracts, pulls inward, and focuses on renewal.

And this is a mirror of what happens energetically during our inner winter—the phase in our cycle when our energy dips and our focus turns inward.

So, as you move through these winter months, let this be your reminder:

  • It’s okay to slow down.
  • It’s okay to rest without guilt.
  • And it’s okay if now isn’t the time for massive change.

Because when we honor the natural cycles—both around us and within us—we set ourselves up for true alignment, nourishment, and growth.

So be cozy, be gentle, and most importantly—be true to your own rhythm.

Here's wishing you and your family all the love, happiness and prosperity for the coming year.

Until next time...

Here's a video where I teach you my inner secrets to take care of your skin and body during the winter months and how to navigate it in the best way possible.

Enjoy!

🧠 Fun Fact for this Week!

How did Soviet botanists become heroes of World War II?

During World War II the 872-day Siege of Leningrad left the city devoid of food. The city (now St. Petersburg) was home to the Bureau of Applied Botany, which maintained a seed bank to safeguard the world’s food supply. Botanists who worked there starved to death rather than consume the seeds intended for future famine relief.

Now, who knew that? 🤓
